Trade: Wright GU for Dual Auto

Fantastic reasons for each card I got. The auto is my first dual aout. Last summer I got a ton of Co-Signers hoping for a dual auot. I got nothing. The Stewart is amazing because my very forst insert card I got was of Stewart. I am trying to get all his rookies. If anyone has some for trade, I'm interested. Kim was pitching at my first MLB game. Plus he's a sub-marine style pitcher. Overall an extremely satisfying trade. Can't wait for my next one.

Overall Satisfaction: A-

Everything about this trade was great. I got Dayf 's cards 2 quickly, I got 2 cards off of My Want List, and I traded away a few Braves cards I had sitting in my trade pile. The Jones RC originally wasn't in the trade pile but I added it just for Dayf.

The Chipper RC is exciting for 3 reasons.

1. It's the only rookie of him I didn't have.

2. He's my favorite player of all time.

3. I absolutly love all the early modern Bowman products.

Both sides got some really great cards. I hope Dayf is happy with the trade. I reccomend everyone trades with him, He has lots of interesting cards for trade and likes anything Braves so you could probably work out a great trade. Click here to go to his blog.

Thorzul Trade!

This week I did a tradeTHORZUL. Giving: $1.50 and an Oscar Charleston card. Getting: 2007 Topps Heritage #2 Roger Clemens, 2007 UD Masterpieces #41 Josh Hamilton, 2007 UD Masterpieces # 53 Cal Ripken Jr., 2001 Topps american Pie #65,141,143 Ozzie Smith, John F. Kennedy, and Elvis Presley, 2007 Topps U&H #100 Abraham Nunez, 2007 Topps Allen & Ginter's Dick Perez Sketches #19 Derek Jeter 1/1! The Jeter is awsome. My 2nd 1/1 I have now. Plus Its of Derek Jeter. How awsome is that! I needed the Clemens for my set. I've always wanted some American Pie cards too. SWo many reasone these cards are awsome. The two Masterpieces cards are good. Hamilton is my favorite Reds player and one of my top 5 current player favorites. The Ripken has the picture off of the front of the packs. I got the Nunez hoping it might be the Ellsbury version. I diidn't have high hopes but the Nunez is cool too. I really like the picture of him on the card. He's right in the middle of throwing a sidearm throw to first.

Christmas Trade

This trade comes from my cousin Colby in Kokomo, Indiana. Getting: 2000 Royal Rookies Miguel Cabrera RC 2007 Topps Wal-Mart Miguel Cabrera Giving: 2007 Topps U & H Alfonso Soriano All-Star 2007 Topps Generation Now Kenji Jojima Normally this trade would be a rippoff but 3 reasons why it's not: 1 My Cousin is 6 and doesn't care about value. 2 He loves the Cubs and insert cards. 3 This is a minor league card of Cabrera and has a low value for a RC. I was happy about this trade because I got 2 cards of now Tiger Miguel Cabrera and I got my little cousin into collecting. Something about when a player gets traded to a new team makes me want to get his cards, especially if the card pictures that player for his new team. I was crazy about Barry Zito cards when he went to the Giants. I am still looking for a GU card of Barry pictured for the Giants. I alos like cards of players who played for a team for just a season if the card pictures him for that team. Joe Morgan for the Astros and A's and Pete Rose for the Phillies and Expos. These are some of the coolest cards to me.
